when you have the force of the people, that can change america. tavis: if i had a dime for every time i heard somebody who has said this in the last four years, i would be independently wealthy. what you have just shared now, respectfully, that we have to make him do it, that we have to push him and hold them accountable and we did not do our job pushing him enough. here's the problem i have with that statement. every time someone says we did not pushing hard enough, the people who typically say that are the progressives who are responsible for pushing him in the first place. so when somebody from labor's as we did not pushing hard enough, i want to say, well, where were you? so the people who are said to me we did not wish to be enough in the first term of the same people who were responsible for doing that we're progressive causes are involved. if we have been saying this for the past four years, that we did not portion enough, why am i to believe now that they are not prepared to do that in the next four years? >> i think the door that is open

let's head into the americas. out towards the northeast there has been some significant snowfall from a large storm system just departing, moving across towards the atlantic. it is still going to be causing some problems for the canadian maritimes. as for new england and the rest of the east, looking quite nice with high pressure moving in keeping things clear. however, out towards the west and across the north it's a different story. we have quite heavy snowfall moving across the u.s.-canada border. the northern rockies, the cascades as well, getting about 25 centimeters. anywhere in the darker blue can expect upwards of 40 centimeters of snowfall. also will see gusts up to 80 kilometers per hour. with the snow blowing, snow drifting, blizzard like conditions and bringing very chilly air. windchill must also be taken into consideration. have a look at the temperatures. minus 4 in winnipeg, but it will feel much colder than that. so really starting to feel like winter across the north. however, down towards the so

for the americas cup, though, as you know, they're using pier 27. we're also doing the construction of the cruise terminal at pier 27. for mitigation for taking this out of service for those two years, we needed to construct shore side power at the dry dock. the environmental benefit of shore side power for both cruise ships and at the dry dock is huge. i just put up a few numbers here. a typical cruise ship in the 8 to 9 hours they're at dock and connected saves 17 tons of fuel that they would have consumed, which -- and burning that fuel would have produced approximately 51 tons of carbon dioxide and 140 pounds of diesel particulate. diesel particulate, 140 pounds doesn't sound like a lot, but from an air quality perspective that's huge. diesel particulates are carcinogenic. that's much more important than the carbon dioxide which as you know is the global warming issue. i made a rough estimate for similar numbers for the matthew perry, which will be in dry dock for 24 days total. that ship wouldn't have been running its engines, we would have nee
